Military Academy of Technology - former rector detained
The CBA officers from Białystok detained former Commandant Rector of the Military Academy of Technology in Warsaw and a department director of the Academy. The case pertains to allegations of extortion of resources to the detriment of the Military Academy of Technology. These are subsequent detentions in the course of the investigation.
The CBA officers searched selected offices at the Military Academy of Technology, securing data media devices and documentation.
In the multithreaded investigation carried out by the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Bialystok and by the Podlaski Field Division of the Organised Crime and Corruption Department of the National Public Prosecutor's Office, threads of corrupt conduct of persons performing public functions in state institutions have been examined, including the Military Technical Academy in Warsaw.
