E-learning platform on GRECO

Created by the CBA e-learning platform was presented at the meeting of GRECO.

In Strasbourg took place the 66th plenary session of GRECO (Group of States against Corruption). In the course of the meeting, particular events in the Member States related to the fight against corruption were presented.

Polish delegation provided information about the launch of CBA’s bilingual e-learning platform.

The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) has set up an e-learning platform (Polish and English) with financial support from the Prevention of and Fight against Crime Programme of the European Commission.

The platform gives access, free of charge, to comprehensive learning and awareness-raising resources on the phenomenon of corruption.  There are three thematic training modules – corruption in public administration, corruption in the business sector and, the social effects of corruption.  The course content includes information on the legal and institutional framework as well as examples of behaviour and of the impact corruption has on the State and on ordinary citizens.  Dialogues, animations and films are used to make it as user friendly as possible.  On satisfactory completion of the 20 lessons in each module, an automatically generated certificate is delivered.

So far over 20 000 users registered on the platform. The module on corruption in public administration had attracted the most attention – both from the general public and those working in public administration.
