AC Project - VI Training Conference

This week was held the last of six organized by the CBA anti-corruption training conference.

International meetings are held under the project, for which implementation of the Central Anticorruption Bureau received funding from the European Commission. The main theme of this meeting were analytical activities and international cooperation as the tools supporting the operational-investigative activities.


Under the Program Prevention and Fight against Crime the European Commission granted the CBA, as the beneficiary of the project funds for the implementation of "Rising of Anticorruption Training Conference”. Co-beneficiary of the project is the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT), and the project partner is the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) of the Republic of Latvia.

The main theme  of the VI Training Conference are activities in the form of criminal and strategic analysis as well as international cooperation in countries taking part in the project. The meeting primarily aims at enhancing international cooperation, exchange of experience and good practices as well as discussion on the important role of the above mentioned activities for conducting operational-investigative activities. The conference was attended by 30 people, including representatives from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia and Slovak Republic.


The project consists of two components - the series of six training conferences scheduled for the years 2013 - 2015 and the launch of the e-learning platform.
