Appointment of the Deputy Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau

On January 30, 2024, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Tomasz Strzelczyk as the Deputy Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The former Deputy Head of the CBA, Mr. Daniel Karpeta, received words of appreciation for his long service.

Mr. Tomasz Strzelczyk served in the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau from 2015 to 2020 he was the Head of one of the Divisions of the Operations and Investigations Department of the Regional Office in Warsaw, and then in the Operations and Investigations Department of the Regional Office in Bydgoszcz.

Before his service in the CBA, he was a police officer for more than 20 years. He finished his service in this formation with the rank of Junior Inspector as the Head of one of the Departments of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The newly appointed Deputy Head of the CBA has extensive professional experience, especially in the area of combating corruption and activities detrimental to the economic interests of the state.

He has been numerously decorated for his achievements - including the Bronze and Silver Medals for Long Service.
