About the CBA

The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau is a special service, created to combat corruption in public and economic life, particularly in public and local government institutions as well as to fight against activities detrimental to the State’s economic interest.

A survey conducted in September 2017 by Public Opinion Research Center (CBOS) shows, that 43% of respondents positively evaluate the activities of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, what is the best result in history of the Bureau. For several years, a visible decrease in negative reviews about the CBA has been observed.

The Bureau conducts its activities under the Act of 9 June 2006  on the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.
