SIENA for Anti-Corruption Authorities (S4ACA)
The Central Anticorruption Bureau along with Austrian Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) and with associate partner – EUROPOL, were implementing the project "SIENA for Anti-Corruption Authorities (S4ACA)" co-financed from the EU Programme "Prevention of and Fight against Crime 2007-2013 (ISEC)".
The purpose of the SIENA project (Secure Information Exchange Network Application) was primarily to promote and develop cooperation between law enforcement agencies, other anti-corruption authorities and EUROPOL. Connecting the CBA in 2016 to this application enables direct exchange of information – via EUROPOL channel – with foreign partners and is a valuable tool used by officers of all departments of the Bureau.
