CBA in the Gdańsk City Hall
The CBA officers are securing documentation in the Gdańsk City Hall to be verified and analysed in an investigation instituted (and previously discontinued) by the National Prosecutor’s Office.
The CBA officers from Gdańsk are securing documentation in the Gdańsk City Hall pertaining to the circumstances of the alterations introduced to the spatial development plan in Gdańsk Jelitkowo, where a housing estate was built and where the President of the City of Gdańsk and his closest family purchased three apartments on preferential terms.
Simultaneously, the CBA is securing documents concerning a contract concluded between the Gdańsk City Hall and the developer, under which the Hall transferred the ownership rights to the land on which the housing estate was built.
The CBA is carrying out its activities by order of the Dolnośląski Field Division of the Organised Crime and Corruption Department in Wrocław.
The secured documentation will be verified in the course of proceedings resumed from discontinuance of a case concerning the acceptance of a financial advantage of a substantial value by Paweł Adamowicz, as a result of purchase of three apartments at preferential prices, located within the housing estate, and non-disclosure of the tax object of the total value of over PLN 750,000 to a competent tax office in the years 2006-2011.
