Officers and civil servants of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau celebrated their Service Day
Official celebrations of the 18th anniversary of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau’s establishment were held at the CBA Training and Conference Centre in Lucień. They were attended by Minister of the Interior and Administration, coordinator of the intelligence agencies Mr Tomasz Siemoniak together with Secretary of State Brig. Gen. Radosław Kujawa, as well as heads of special services: Head of the Military Counterintelligence Service Brig. Gen. Jarosław Stróżyk PhD, Head of the Military Intelligence Service Colonel Dorota Kawecka, Head of the Internal Security Agency Colonel Rafał Syrysko, Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Agency Colonel Dominik Duda and Deputy Head of the Military Intelligence Service Colonel Konrad Szałankiewicz. The anniversary celebrations were also attended by: Commander-in-Chief of Police Incumbent Inspector Marek Boroń, Commander-in-chief of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime Chief Inspector Adam Cieślak, Commander-in-chief of the Central Investigation Bureau of Police Inspector Cezary Luba and First Deputy of the General Prosecutor the National Public Prosecutor Dariusz Korneluk, as well as Deputy Director General of the Prison Service Colonel Bartłomiej Turbiarz and Brig. Gen. (Res.) Stanisław Żmuda, M.D.
The anniversary of the establishment of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) was an occasion to confer state decorations and honours on deserving CBA officers and civil servants. Medals for long service were awarded by the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Coordinator of the Special Services, Mr Tomasz Siemoniak. The Minister conveyed his appreciation and respect for officers carrying out the important and responsible mission of ensuring the economic security of our country.
The Head of the CBA, Ms Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak, thanked all the officers and civil servants of the Bureau who perform their official duties every day with great commitment and dedication. The Minister also addressed her thanks to the relatives and families of the officers and civil servants of the CBA for their support and understanding of the specific nature of the service.
The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) is a special service established to combat corruption in public and economic life, particularly in public and local government institutions, as well as to fight against activities detrimental to the State’s economic interests. CBA conducts under the Act of 9 June 2006 on the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.
