Cooperation between WAT and CBA

Cooperation in the field of education in the area of state security and professional mobilisation of students are the main objectives of the agreement signed between the Military University of Technology and the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

On 21 August 2024, at the headquarters of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, a cooperation agreement was signed by the Commandant-Rector of the WAT, Brigadier General Prof. Przemysław Wachulak and the Head of the CBA, Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak.

The concluded agreement is the result and continuation of the initiated joint information and education activities and undertakings related to students’ professional development, which were the subject of a letter of intent signed on 29 April 2022 between WAT and CBA.

The aim of the cooperation undertaken by WAT and CBA is to develop and strengthen ethical and civic attitudes, in particular those related to national economic security, among students and future graduates of the University. On the other hand, undertakings for the professional mobilisation of students are to enable the development of competences useful in their future professional careers.

As part of the agreement, the WAT claimed, among other things, to inform students and graduates about internship, apprenticeship and job offers provided by the CBA, as well as to organise joint projects related to professional mobilisation of students and graduates, including meetings, seminars, training courses and conferences.

A new feature is the possibility for WAT students to undertake internships at the CBA.

At the meeting at the CBA, the Commandant-Rector of the WAT was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr Monika Szyłkowska, Professor of the WAT. The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau was also represented by the Director of the Cabinet of the Head of the CBA Wojciech Sapalski, the Director of the Human Resources & Training Bureau Mariusz Tomaszewski and the Director of the IT Bureau Kamil Stępień.
