We reveal mismanagement of large size in the biggest carp farm in Europe

The CEO "Stawy Milickie" was charged with abuse of power and the negative managing of company property - he led to the milion damage of property. The investigation concerning this company belonging to the local government is conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Wrocław.

The findings of the investigation conducted by the Wrocław CBA under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław show that the CEO of the joint-stock company "Stawy Milickie" Sławomir M. led to the conclusion of unfavorable and unjustified contracts amounting to at least 1 196 000 PLN.

The case concerns, among others, contracts with architects employed to develop the design and estimation documentation. Payment for them was nearly 1.4 million PLN. Experts requested in this investigation assessed that the work could be performed for much lower amount. In another case, the president M. concluded a contract with an advisor what was contrary to the rules for awarding such orders, which resulted in paying unjustifiably amount of more than 30 thousand PLN for the unperformed order. More than 76 thousand PLN for unimplemented information and publicity operations and additionally 18 thousand PLN for unimplemented draft of business plan of the investment - went to another private company.

Sławomir M. was charged. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Stawy Milickie is an enormous set of fish ponds located in the Barycz Valley - the largest  carp farm in Europe.
