Irregularities at the Poznań University of Technology
The CBA’s control at the Poznań University of Technology has detected irregularities in public procurement for PLN 5.6 million.
The Regional Office of the CBA in Lublin has finalised its control of the procedures for taking and implementing decisions on awarding selected public procurement contracts by the Poznań University of Technology. Disbursement in the years 2012 – 2016 was under control.
The CBA officers established that the university had awarded public procurement contracts of the total value of over PLN 5.6 million through an uncompetitive request for quotation, without complying with the conditions of its application. The contracts pertained to, among others, the property security services and carpentry services.
The Spokesperson for Public Finance Discipline received a notification of the possibility of the breach of public finance discipline by the University’s head of finance and administration, his deputy, and the manager of the public procurement division.
