CBA and University of Szczecin – together for education
The Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak, and the Rector of the University of Szczecin, Prof. Waldemar Tarczyński, PhD, signed a letter of intent. During the meeting at the headquarters of the CBA, the Rector was represented by Ewelina Cała-Wacinkiewicz, PhD, Professor of the University of Szczecin, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin.
Central Anti-Corruption Bureau and the University of Szczecin are beginning cooperation in the educational, informational and preventive fields. The parties have agreed to undertake joint educational initiatives to raise awareness of the corruption phenomena, to shape ethical and civic attitudes among future graduates of the university.
Ewelina Cała-Wacinkiewicz, PhD, Professor at the University of Szczecin: I firmly believe that our cooperation with the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau will contribute to raising a generation of informed and responsible citizens. Together we can build the foundations of an honest and just society that will be resistant to corruption. Our goal is not only to educate academics, but also to shape characters and values that will serve the whole society. I believe that this initiative will be the beginning of a lasting collaboration to promote ethics and transparency in public life.
Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak: Cooperation with the University of Szczecin, planned meetings with students and graduates of this university will contribute to strengthening the social awareness of the young generation in terms of identifying and effectively combating corruption. This is about building an honest state together.
