Irregularities in 11 asset declarations submitted by a management board member of the Wielkopolskie Voivodship. CBA wants an investigation.

The Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Poznań filed a notification of a suspicion of having perpetrated a criminal offence by a management board member of the Wielkopolskie Voivodship Leszek Wojtasiak. The case concerned the concealment of the truth in 11 submitted asset declarations and six adjustments. These are the newest findings of the CBA.

The officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Poznań have revealed the circumstances indicating a reasonable suspicion of having perpetrated criminal offences of concealing the truth in 11 asset declarations and six adjustments to the declarations submitted by Leszek Wojtasiak, a town councillor to the Wielkopolskie Voivodship Sejmik, being also a management board member of the Wielkopolskie Voivodship. It has been established that the town councillor did not disclose his possession of five pecuniary obligations, including a mortgage loan.

The CBA has submitted a notification of these findings to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Poznań-Stare Miasto (Old Town).

It is the third notification filed by the CBA pertaining to the possibility of irregularities in asset declarations provided by Leszek Wojtasiak. The investigation instituted in 2013 resulted in a conditional discontinuance of proceedings by the prosecution. However, he lost the mandate of a town councillor. The Prosecutor's Office also discontinued another investigation initiated 2015, due to insignificant social noxiousness of the act.
