The Regional Office of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in Gdańsk, under the supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk, conducts an investigation on investment realization and settlement of the multi-million co-financing granted under the Operational Program "Innovative Economy 2007-2013" to the detriment of an institution with public funds i.e. Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
The grant agreements were signed in mid-2014.
As part of the investigation, the CBA agents from Regional Offices in Szczecin, Białystok, Lublin, Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice and Gdańsk are securing documents in over 50 locations, among others, in companies which obtained co-financing and other business entities, as well as in the Correctional Facility in Krzywaniec, the Correctional Facility in Czarne and the Central Board of Prison Service in Warsaw.
Activities in the investigation are ongoing.
