300 thousand zlotys bribe - the man was caught red-handed
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Lublin detained a businessman from Gdańsk in the act of accepting a bribe. The arrest took place in front of one of the Warsaw hotels, just after the man took 300,000 PLN bribe.
As the agent of the CBA in Lublin conducting the case determined, for the money he was supposed to bring about the sale of a developed real property belonging to a food company in bankruptcy on attractive terms and at a favorable price.
The man detained by the CBA invoked influences of the bankruptcy receiver of the company in Gdańsk and the court in Gdańsk, which oversees bankruptcy proceedings.
The CBA agents searched the place of residence of the detained businessman and the office of the official receiver in Gdańsk.
Detainee and collected materials, secured documents will be transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw. Activities are ongoing.
