OECD Global Anti-corruption & Integrity Forum
Deputy Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau dr Grzegorz Ocieczek took part in the annual OECD Anti-Corruption Forum.
The OECD Global Forum on Anticorruption & Integrity is a public, multilateral platform of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which shapes the anti-corruption dialogue between governments, political circles, the private sector, civil society and the academic world.
The main topic of this year's Global Anti-corruption & Integrity Forum was to shape a favorable environment for integrity in government, business and society, and to stimulate fair competition, economic growth and sustainable development as well as reducing inequalities and increasing the benefits of globalization.
During the meetings, representatives of government administration presented solutions in the field of counteracting corruption among officials and promoting ethics in their countries. Participants also discussed how to effectively measure the level of integrity of the government administration of OECD member countries. In the works of the groups took part representatives of the Head of the Civil Service and a representative of the leading institution in the field of prevention and anti-corruption activities in Poland - the Central Anticorruption Bureau.
Deputy Head of the CBA dr Grzegorz Ocieczek, assistant professor of UKSW (Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw) spoke in a discussion part of a panel on corruption in sport. Minister Ocieczek presented the CBA's experience in combating corruption in sport in Poland and raised the issue of corruption in sports betting. The session was attended by, among others, Deputy Minister of Sport of France and OECD Director of Legal Affairs.
