Apparent and overstated contracts, six persons detained
The officers of the Central Anticorruption Bureau detained six persons in the investigation into bringing Polish Armaments Group S.A. to an unfavorable property disposition of significant value and bringing direct danger of causing material damage.
Among detained people is the former head of the political cabinet of Ministry of National Defence (MON) Bartłomiej M., a former board member of PGZ S.A. enterprise (Polish Armaments Group) Radosław O., former parliamentarian Mariusz Antoni K., as well as three former employees of MON and PGZ. All detainees will be transferred to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Tarnobrzeg, where they will be charged. In connection with detentions, CBA officers are conducting searches of over 30 locations.
The investigation, conducted on the basis of CBA's own materials, concerns mismanagement, invoking influences and falsification of documents during conclusions of contracts by PGZ S.A. In the opinion of investigators, there was an unfavorable property disposition of a significant value and bringing a direct danger of causing considerable damage to property.
