Two persons detained. Bribes in tenders
Former management of an auxiliary farm operating at the Correctional Facility in Czerwony Bór has been detained by the CBA. The investigation concerns corruption in tenders organized by the Prison Service.
Officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Białystok have detained two persons in the Podlasie Voivodeship. Among them is a former director of an auxiliary farm at the Correctional Facility, afterwards performing function of the Director of the Podlaskie Public Sector Enterprise Bielik in Czerwony Bór, and his deputy in both institutions.
Everything seems to indicate that that men have accepted bribes from one of the local entrepreneurs carrying out construction works for the institutions in which they worked. As it has been determined, dealings took place in the years 2008-2012, and the bribes were equal to the 4% of the net value of invoices for the works.
The detainees will be transferred to the District Prosecutor's Office in Łomża, where they will be charged with corruption.
