Five persons detained in connection with the GetBack case
More persons have been detained by CBA officers from Warsaw in the investigation of irregularities in the operations of the GetBack SA capital group.
The officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Warsaw have detained five persons in connection with the investigation concerning GetBack. Four persons are suspected of manipulating the share price of company EGB Investments in order to overstate its value. Fifth of the detainees is a former employee of one of the banks suspected of fraud and conducting activities in the field of trade in financial instruments without permission.
All persons detained by the CBA will be charged in the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw. Up to now, 49 persons have heard allegations in this multifaceted case.
