Corruption at Warsaw waterworks – next detentions

An entrepreneur from Warsaw detained by the CBA. This is another action in connection with the investigation regarding corruption at Warsaw Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise (MPWiK).

The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw have detained a co-owner of a Warsaw company from the municipal services industry. The man is suspected of providing material benefits to the director of MPWiK who had previously been detained into this case.

The investigation is conducted by the officers of the CBA under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.

At the beginning of July this year, a Director of the Support Division in Municipal Water and Sewage Enterprise in Warsaw, two entrepreneurs-partners of a company from Silesia, as well as the deputy manager for the sewage network of Sosnowiec waterworks and the former head of the sewerage network of Gliwice Water and Sewage Enterprise.
