XXIX Economic Forum

The Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau Ernest Bejda participated in the XXIX Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdrój.

The Head of the CBA took part in the panel organised on 5 September 2019 “How to combat corruption”.

Participants of the panel answered, among others, the questions: how does the phenomenon of corruption affect the economy, politics and society? How to predict the risk of corruption? How to effectively combat corruption and how to fight it? Topics related to the scope of tasks and powers of the CBA, problems and challenges for the service were raised.

Among the guests of the three-day Forum are representatives of governments and parliaments from Central and Eastern Europe, heads of leading companies, experts, scientists, people of culture and the media from over 60 countries. The program of the event consisted of six plenary sessions, over 200 discussion panels and lectures, workshops and various presentations.

The organizer of the Economic Forum in Krynica is the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies. Sessions are prepared in cooperation with over 100 partners, including the largest companies in their industries. The main partner of the Forum is traditionally the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
