They arranged tenders for medical equipment for the army
Two persons detained by the CBA. New investigation. A damage for over PLN 2 million. Bid rigging in favor of a company from Zielona Góra.
The officers of the CBA have detained an employee of the Department of Gestation and Development of the Management Board of the Military Health Service Inspectorate of Types of Forces of the General Command of the Armed Forces and director for Military Customer Affairs and Emergency Medical Services of a company from Zielona Góra.
The detentions took place in connection with new proceedings conducted by the agents of the CBA from Warsaw. The investigation concerns irregularities in the organization of public procurement by the Military Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Center in Celestynów connected with the supply of medical equipment.
The findings of the investigators indicate that the detainees entered into an agreement in connection with organized tenders for medical equipment in order to select a company from Zielona Góra as a contractor. Everything seems to indicate that they agreed on the content of the description of the subject of the contract and the contracting authority's response to the appeal and questions to the Terms of Reference, at the same time acting to the detriment of at least PLN 2 million.
The detainees will be charged in the Department of Military Affairs of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
The investigation is based on the own findings of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau with the participation of the Military Gendarmerie and the Military Counterintelligence Service.
The case is multi-threaded and developmental.
