Charges for the Mayor of Biskupiec and the President of Water and Sewage Enterprise (PWiK) in Biskupiec
The Mayor of Biskupiec and the President of Water and Sewage Enterprise (PWiK Sp. z o.o.) in Biskupiec received charges of an abuse of powers and causing a property damage amounting to almost PLN 6 million.
The officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Białystok have carried out an investigation into the disposal of municipal property by the Town Hall of Biskupiec and the Water and Sewage Enterprise (PWiK) in Biskupiec in relation to an investment contract concluded with Horizont Project Development Sp. z o.o. in 2015.
The investigation findings resulted from the inspection in the Town Hall and the Water and Sewage Enterprise in Biskupiec carried out by the officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Białystok. The inspection mainly covered the disposal of municipal assets in relation to a non-tender sale of the municipality property to Egger company via PWiK in Biskupiec.
The Mayor of Biskupiec and the President of Water and Sewage Enterprise (PWiK) in Biskupiec heard charges of an abuse of powers and causing huge damage to property. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn has applied a preventive measure in the form of an interdiction on occupying posts in the Management Board of PWiK in Biskupiec.
