The Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau was invited to attend the Annual Professional EPAC/EACN Conference, which took place on 18-20 November 2014 in Paris (France).

The EPAC / EACN Conference is organized annually by the anti-corruption services and internal affairs units of Police of different countries. The purpose of regular meetings is to create a platform for exchange of experience and good practices between anticorruption services and institutions supervising the activities of law enforcement agencies which are members of this organization. The meeting also aims to discuss the past and future activities of the EPAC / EACN as well as the admission of new members during the EPAC / EACN General Assembly.

Created in 2004 the organization of the European Partners Against Corruption (EPAC) brings together more than 60 anti-corruption institutions. Based on EPAC in 2008 was established the European contact-point network against corruption (EACN) which bonds anti-corruption networks, bringing together nearly 50 state structures of the member states of the European Union. The EPAC / EACN initiative became an annual event raising and building awareness in the fight against corruption among the representatives of the EU countries.

The host of this year's conference is the French National Police General Inspectorate – IGPN (Inspection Générale de la Police Nationale). During the conference, the IGPN will also celebrate the 130th anniversary of the French internal control of the state police.
