Four persons have been detained by the officers of the CBA Regional Office in Wrocław under the investigation into the acceptance of financial advantages by the employees of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. (the Polish Gas Distribution System Operator).
Four persons have been detained by the officers of the CBA Regional Office in Wrocław under the investigation into the acceptance of financial advantages by the employees of Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o. (the Polish Gas Distribution System Operator), Wrocław Gas Division.
In connection with this case, the CBA officers have detained 4 persons - an entrepreneur and a former manager of the Investment and Repair Department, as well as two supervisory inspectors from Polska Spółka Gazownictwa Sp. z o.o., Zakład Gazowniczy (Gas Division) in Wrocław.
In the course of the investigation, it has been established that in the years 2017 - 2018, for financial gain, the former head of the Investment and Repair Department led Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o.o., the Wrocław Division of Zakłady Gazowniczy to disadvantageous disposal of property of significant value, in the total amount of approximately PLN 3 million. All findings indicate that she persuaded the entrepreneur carrying out construction works on behalf of the company to attest an untruth in VAT invoices and partial acceptance protocols of construction works issued by him. The execution of construction works was certified, which in reality did not take place.
The detainees have faced charges in the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław.
