Corruption in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration. 4 individuals detained

Four individuals, including two from the management of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration, were detained by the officers of the Regional Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau in Katowice.

Last Monday, the CBA officers detained four individuals, including two entrepreneurs and two Deputy Directors of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration (ŚZDW) immediately after one of them accepted a financial advantage of PLN 30 thousand. The activities took place in Kielce.
The evidence gathered indicates that the financial advantage was given by one of the detained entrepreneurs representing the company carrying out a construction investment for the benefit of ŚZDW, worth several dozen million zlotys. The investigators found out that the other entrepreneur also granted financial advantages to both civil servants.
The detainees were taken to the Silesian Department for Organised Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor's Office in Katowice, where they were charged with corruption. One of the detainees used the so-called non-punishment provision.
Simultaneously, the CBA officers carried out searches in the detainees' places of residence, on the premises of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration, and on the premises of several companies cooperating with the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration.
