10th anniversary of the establishment of the CBA
Ten years ago the Polish Parliament with a Decree of 9th June 2006 established the Central Anticorruption Bureau.
The 10th anniversary of the establishment of Bureau was celebrated with a special meeting at the Training Centre of the CBA in Lucień. Guests were greeted by hosts of the celebration - Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau Ernest Bejda and his Deputies Bogdan Sakowicz and Grzegorz Ocieczek.
At the invitation of the management of the Bureau, to Lucień arrived: the Coordinator for Special Services Mariusz Kamiński, Chairman of the Committee for Special Services Marek Opioła and his deputy Paweł Kukiz, First Deputy of Prosecutor General - National Prosecutor Bogdan Święczkowski and Advisor to the Head of the National Security Bureau prof. dr. Andrzej Zybertowicz and Director of the Department of Homeland Security at Chancellery of the Prime Minister Jarosława Maćkowiak.
Among our guests were also the representatives of the management of services: Head of the Government Protection Bureau Colonel Andrzej Pawlikowski, Head of the Military Intelligence Service Colonel Andrzej Kowalski, Chief Commander of the Military Gendarmerie Colonel Tomasz Połuch and Deputy Head of the Internal Security Agency Col. Norbert Loba, Adviser to the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Agency Col. Tomasz Piechowiak, Chief of Advisors to the Head of Military Counterintelligence Service Major Mariusz Kozłowski, Deputy Chief of Police insp. Helena Michalak, Director of the Office of Internal Affairs of the Border Guard Paweł Dobrowolski and Director of the Department of Law and Non-military Security of National Security Bureau Bogusław Cichoń. The Prime Minister Beata Szydło sent a congratulatory letter to the Head of the CBA, all CBA officers and employees of the Bureau.
Ernest Bejda, Mariusz Kamiński, Marek Opioła and Paweł Kukiz gave speeches on the summary of 10 years of work and plans for the future of the CBA.
The celebration of 10th anniversary of the CBA was finished with the solemn mass in the Holy Basilica of the Holy Cross in Warsaw.
