CBA at Dolna Odra Power Plant
The officers from the Regional Office of the CBA in Szczecin entered the Dolna Odra Power Plant and 35 other premises.
By order of the District Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin, the CBA officers are carrying out procedural activities consisting in search of offices and apartments of persons associated with the accomplishment of renovations and investments at the Dolna Odra Power Plant.
The officers are securing storage media and documentation constituting evidence in the case. The case pertains to the so-called managerial corruption and acceptance of advatages in exchange for determination of the manner of the contrator selection, implementation of the selection procedures, supervision over the implementation of works, and the delivery of the contract.
It is worth mentioning that the Dolna Odra Power Plant assigns PLN 50-70 million annually for renovation, but in the years 2007-2013 it amounted to PLN 700 million.
The proceedings cover activities related to assets of substantial value.
