Control of public procurement executed by the Gdynia Maritime University
Public procurements carried out by the Gdynia Maritime University subjected to CBA control.
Since 14 December 2021, the officers of the Control Proceedings Division of the CBA Regional Office in Gdańsk have been inspecting selected public procurements which were awarded and implemented by the Gdynia Maritime University. The proceedings cover the years 2018 – 2019. The control objective is to verify the decisions on public procurements awarded by the Gdynia Maritime University, including those related to the organisation of the Independence Cruise Inauguration Ceremony.
In the course of the conducted activities, both the correctness of the procedure for awarding public contracts and the implementation of the awarded contracts will be verified. The completion of the inspection is planned for 14 March 2022.
Under the provisions of the Act on the CBA, this period may be extended by further 6 months.
