Thermomodernisation project under CBA control
On 16 February of this year, the officers of the Control Proceedings Division of the CBA Regional Office in Białystok commenced an inspection of the Braniewo Commune.
The proceedings include an examination of the decision-making and execution procedures for the award of a public contract in 2019 titled “Thermomodernisation of the building of Primary School No. 6 and Middle School No. 1 at Konarskiego Street in Braniewo” within the project “Thermomodernisation of educational and public utility facilities as part of the revitalisation of the Municipality of Braniewo”.
The auditors will examine the stage of applying by the ordering party for obtaining financial support from the European Regional Development Fund of Regional Operational Programme for Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020 and the procedure for the award of the public contract.
The total value of the investment amounts to PLN 14,836,260, including co-financing of PLN 8,189,965.29 granted to the ordering party from European funds.
The completion of the inspection is planned for 16 May 2022. Under the provisions of the Act on the CBA, this period may be extended by further 6 months.
