Allegations over tender collusion
Five persons have been charged in connection with alleged irregularities in tenders announced in Regional Branches of the Military Property Agency. The proceedings have been conducted by the CBA Regional Office in Poznań, under the supervision of the Military Affairs Division of the District Prosecutor's Office in Poznań.
A further five persons have faced charges in connection with an investigation into tender collusion in public tenders for the sale of unlicensed movable property and waste organised by the Regional Branches of the Military Property Agency. In the course of the investigation, a number of irregularities connected with influencing the results of conducted tenders were identified.
The suspects included three employees (a manager and two specialists) of departments for the Management of Movable Property of the Regional Branches of the Military Property Agency in Bydgoszcz, Warsaw and Poznań, who disclosed data on tendering procedures constituting professional secrecy, and two entrepreneurs involved in collusive tendering.
The suspects were charged at the Military Affairs Division of the District Prosecutor's Office in Poznań, which supervises the ongoing proceedings.
So far, 12 people have been charged. Against some of them, the prosecutor applied non-custodial preventive measures in the form of police supervision combined with a ban on contact with the other suspects and bail of 20 or 10 thousand PLN.
The suspects may be subject to the penalty of deprivation of liberty for up to 3 years.
