Tender collusion. Four persons detained by the CBA

The Managing Director of a waste treatment plant in Siedlce, a local government official and two entrepreneurs have been detained by the CBA. The investigation concerns irregularities in the organisation of tender procedures.

Officers of the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw have detained four persons, including the Managing Director of the Waste Treatment Plant based in Siedlce, the mayor of Kałuszyn and two entrepreneurs. The activities were carried out in the Mazovia and Silesia regions.

The proceedings within which the operation was carried out concern irregularities in tenders organised in the Waste Treatment Plant in Siedlce and the Municipal Office in Kałuszyn in 2019-2021. The activities in the case are supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin - the Local Division in Biała Podlaska.

The investigators' findings indicate that the suspects acted for financial gain by entering into informal agreements connected with organised tenders.

It is the first operation carried out in this case by the CBA Regional Office in Warsaw and the District Prosecutor's Office in Lublin - the Local Division in Biała Podlaska.
