CBA at the town hall
The CBA is verifying reprivatisation decisions in Warsaw. The CBA officers are analysing information pertaining to the implementation of the obligation to submit asset declarations by directors and deputy directors of the Bureaus of the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw. The CBA is examining the operation of the weighing system of waste management at the Municipal Waste Company and at the Municipal Waste Management Bureau in Warsaw.
The officers of the Department of Control Procedures of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau initiated a control of procedures for taking and implementation of decisions on public property issued by the President of the Capital City of Warsaw, particularly pursuant to the Decree of 26 October 1945 on the ownership and usufruct of land on the territory of the Capital City of Warsaw in the years 2010-2014.
The verification has covered i.a. the documentation referring to administrative procedures carried out by the Real Property Management Bureau, among others in connection with real property in the Środmieście district.
The CBA requested the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw to inform in writing about the implementation of the obligation to submit asset declarations by the directors and deputy directors of the Bureaus.
The Regional Office of the CBA in Łódź, supervised by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Łódź-Bałuty, is carrying out an investigation into the implementation of the weighing system at the Municipal Waste Company in Warsaw, along with the data transfer covering the vehicle fleet for waste management. The task assigned to this system is gathering of weighing information in order to encumber the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw with invoices for waste exports and management.
The CBA officers are examining the accuracy of the system operation on the part of the Municipal Waste Company and the Municipal Waste Management Bureau of the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw as well as the accuracy of the calculation of payments for the entities accomplishing the exports of waste.
In the course of the investigation, IT data relating to waste exports have been secured, the tonnage and documents referring to the settlement of accounts of the entities which rendered the services of waste exports.
