Letter of Intent with Lublin University of Technology

The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau and Lublin University of Technology are starting cooperation in the areas of education, information and prevention. A letter of intent in this regard was signed by Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak, Head of the CBA, and Professor Zbigniew Pater, Rector of the University.

Lublin University of Technology is the 20th university with which we sign this kind of letter of intent. We select only leading public universities, which, like our institution, have in their mission the education of young people also in ethical issues’ – emphasises the Head of the CBA’s Human Resources and Training Bureau, Mariusz Tomaszewski.

The cooperation between the Lublin University of Technology and the CBA will include an informational and educational activity aimed at developing and strengthening civic attitudes among future graduates. A key element will be the organisation of training courses for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students on corruption issues and the development of ethical behaviour in every area of social and economic life.

Future engineers, when entering the labour market, will not only be perfectly prepared in terms of subject matter, but will also be aware of the ethical challenges they may face in their careers,’ says Rector, Professor Zbigniew Pater.
