High Level Meeting 2024

The High-Level Meeting of the Heads of Anti-Corruption Authorities of the Baltic Sea Countries took place on 9-11 October 2024. Representatives of the most important anti-corruption institutions from the region met in Wrocław to discuss key challenges and the future of anti-corruption efforts. This year, at the invitation of the Head of the CBA, in addition to the regular participants, representatives of anti-corruption institutions from Iceland and Sweden attended the meeting.

The meeting aimed to strengthen international cooperation, share experiences and jointly discuss new effective tools in the fight against corruption. An important place among the topics discussed was given to the use of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Crime Detection.

The conference was attended by representatives from the following authorities:

  • Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA)
  • Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (EPBGB),
  • Estonian Internal Security Service (KAPO),
  • The District Prosecutor (TDP),
  • The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB),
  • Internal Security Bureau of Latvia (IDB),
  • Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT),
  • Swedish Prosecution Authority The National Anti-Corruption Unit (SPA NAUC),
  • The National Anti-Corruption Police Unit (NACPU).

The High Level Meeting is a cyclical, international event. This year, it was hosted by the Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.
