A series of 18 lectures themed ‘Mature in Service. Together for the integrity of the State’.

Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, as part of the celebrations of the 18th anniversary of its establishment, has prepared a series of 18 lectures especially for students in the final grades of secondary schools themed ‘Mature in service. Together for the integrity of the State’. The lectures will take place at 18 universities with which the CBA has signed letters of intent and jointly implements educational projects to build awareness of the corruption and to shape ethical and civic attitudes.

The main theme of each meeting is working with information; students have the opportunity to learn what the reception and initial classification of information is, what channels it comes through to the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, how a crime analyst works, what the analysis of phone records and financial data is, what operational and investigative and procedural activities are, and why cyber-security is so important in the activities of the services.

They will also learn what an anti-corruption shield or polygraph examination are and how a person is detained by CBA officers. During each lecture, young people have the opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in the lecture.

The first such meeting has already taken place at the Lublin University of Technology, where, in addition to a presentation of the CBA’s activities, we were able to answer numerous questions from young people about service in our organisational units or the use of artificial intelligence in preparatory proceedings and at the stage of collecting evidence.

Further meetings are ahead at universities such as:

• Wroclaw University of Economics and Business

• University of Warsaw

• University of Gdańsk

• Warsaw University of Technology

• Opole University of Technology
