The largest educational project of the CBA

Almost 6 thousand pupils and students participated in meetings entitled "Adults in service. Together for an honest State". Classes were held at 18 public universities, with which the Office implements educational programs aimed at shaping ethical and civic attitudes. The project was an example of the CBA's preventive activities.

The series of lectures for 18-year-olds began on 4th October 2024 at the Lublin University of Technology. The highest attendance was recorded at meetings organized at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Military University of Technology, the University of Lodz and the Warsaw University of Technology. Minister Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak, Head of the CBA, appeared as a speaker at the University of Lodz. Almost 500 young people participated in the meeting. The project ended on 17th December 2024 with a meeting at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

During the meetings, the areas of the CBA's activity were presented in the form of 8 panels:

  1. Execution Division/Detention
  2. Working with Information
  3. Intelligence Analysis
  4. Operational Activities
  5. Criminal Analysis
  6. Process
  7. Forensic
  8. Psychology of Deception

The entire educational project involved 32 officers from various organizational units of the CBA. Over 10 officers with expert knowledge of the tasks performed acted as lecturers. Officers from the CBA Branches also participated in the project. During each meeting, students learned about the specifics of analytical and informational, control and investigative activities. The youth expressed interest in the analytical activities undertaken by the Office, which prevent corruption and economic threats and damage to public property, preventive and educational activities, and multi-level international cooperation.

Pupils and students also learned about the channels through which corruption cases can be reported to the CBA and the rules for accepting and pre-qualifying information that comes to the Office. A case study of an investigation into corruption was presented using a fictional example. The youth also learned about anti-corruption protection, criminal, strategic and intelligence analysis, and how artificial intelligence is used to combat corruption crimes.

Educating the young generation and increasing awareness of the negative effects of corruption threats are essential for building honest attitudes in social and economic life. The interest in the project "Adults in service. Together for an honest State" confirmed that the preventive and educational tasks carried out by the Office are essential for shaping honesty, which has an impact on the country's economic development and the well-being of society.

Since the beginning of the Office's operation, almost 15 hundred stationary training courses have been conducted with the participation of over 77 thousand people. Almost 365 thousand e-learning training courses have been held using the educational platform, which was launched in 2014.

The CBA's educational initiatives are appreciated not only in Poland, but also abroad. In 2023, as part of the signed letters of intent with universities, the Office implemented the #ABCIntegrity project. This undertaking was recognized as the most innovative project in the field of counteracting corruption in 2023 and received an award from the European Partners Against Corruption/European Anti-Corruption Network (EPAC/EACN).
