Appointment of the Deputy Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau

On June 24, 2026, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Donald Tusk, appointed Mr. Cezary Luba as the Deputy Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The appointment certificate was presented by the Minister-Coordinator of the Special Services, Mr. Tomasz Siemoniak.

Mr. Cezary Luba has extensive professional experience. He began his service in the Polish Police in 1992. In 2005, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Organized Drug Crime at the Central Bureau of Investigation of the National Police Headquarters. Since 2014, he served as an expert with the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX Kosovo), as part of the Polish Police Contingent. In 2021, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Mission in Kosovo. From 2024 to 2026, he served as Commander of the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Polish Police (CBŚP). He concluded his service in the Police with the rank of Inspector General, the highest general officer rank in the Polish Police. Throughout his career, he has received numerous decorations for his achievements, including the Bronze Cross of Merit, the Silver Medal for Long Service, and the Gold Badge "Meritorious Police Officer."
