Bribes for supervision inspector. Detentions
Bribes of 480 thousand zł and 11 suspects in the CBA's investigation against, among others, the supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. z o.o. Today the CBA agents from Katowice detained another 3 persons.
Officers from the Regional Office of the CBA in Katowice detained three businessmen from Katowice, Dąbrowa Górnicza and Pszczyna suspected of giving financial benefits to the employee of the company Tauron Ciepło Sp. z o.o. (to a person performing a public function) responsible for supervising the renovations, investments and acceptance of work performed by external companies. Men will hear bribery charges in the Prosecution Office.
In total, it is already 11 suspects in an investigation conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Katowice, supervised by the Investigative Division V of the Prosecutor's Office in Katowice.
Earlier the CBA agents detained red-handed, while accepting financial benefits, Bożena K. - supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. z o.o. with headquarters in Katowice (who was later fired). The person who gave the financial benefit of 74,5 thousands of PLN turned out to be one of the businessmen, who was performing orders for the company. The investigation was initiated because of the suspicions that there might be more similar cases. To this day, Bożena K. heard 37 charges of bribery offenses. According to the findings of investigators, including the bribes from the businessmen, she took over 480 thousands zł.
The CBA does not rule out further detentions and enlargement the list of charges.
