Two more businessmen, detained by the CBA, will hear charges of giving bribes to the supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. o.o. In the case the number of suspects is 16 persons.
This is another detention in the last two months. Agents from the Regional Office of the CBA in Katowice have detained today two more businessmen from the Silesian region suspected of giving financial benefit to the supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. o.o. As for today already a former employee of the company, was responsible for supervising repairs and investments and the subsequent acceptance of the work performed by external companies.
As we have previously informed, the whole case began with a detention by the CBA, red-handed in the act of reception of financial benefits by Bożena K. - supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. o.o. The investigation was initiated and its findings allowed to press 37 charges against Bożena K. for accepting more than 480 thousands zł of financial benefits.
In the proceeding conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Katowice, supervised by the Investigative Division V of the District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice, the status of a suspect has got already 16 persons, but the CBA still does not rule out further detentions and enlargement of the list of charges.
