Further detentions - already 14 suspects
Three detained by the CBA businessmen will hear charges of giving bribes to the supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. z o.o.
Agents from the Regional Office of the CBA detained three more businessmen from the Silesian region suspected of giving financial benefits to the employee of the company Tauron Ciepło Sp. o.o. (now a former employee of the company) responsible for supervising the repairs and investments and the subsequent acceptance of the work performed by external companies.
The whole case started with the detention by the CBA, red-handed while accepting financial benefits, Bożena K. - supervision inspector of Tauron Ciepło Sp. o.o. An investigation was initiated and its findings allowed to charge Bożena K. with 37 allegations for accepting more than 480 thousands zł of financial benefits.
In the proceeding conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Katowice, supervised by the Investigative Division V of the District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice, the status of a suspect has already 14 people, but the CBA still does not rule out further detentions and enlargement of the list of charges.
