CBA: irregularities in the ZDM (City Roads Authority) at the construction of parking lots for the Poznań Police
Charges for 9 people, including the current and former director of City Road Authority in Poznań, Director of the Road Works in Poznań. The case concerns the hiding of costs of parking lots repairs.
As a result of the CBA control it was revealed, that Poznań ZDM commissioned in years 2010, 2012 and 2013 repairs of parking lots located at the Police Municipal Headquarters in Poznań and at the Voivodship Police Headquarters, including the cost of these works to already conducted road investments in Poznań, among others, on the streets of: Dolna Wilda, Bojanowska, Namysłowska, Jeleniogórska, Warszawska and Jasna Rola. The investigation was conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Poznań under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin. Damage in the capital of the city amounted to over 770 thousand PLN.
The findings of the CBA and the prosecutor's office, allowed to bring charges against the current and former director of the Poznań City Road Authority, present and former director deputies of the ZDM and its employee. Chargess were pressed also against the Director of the Road Works in Poznań, his deputy and two employees of this unit.
The suspects committed crimes related to false statements in the cost estimates, acceptance protocols and in VAT invoices for several investments implemented by Poznań ZDM and ZRD, by overestimating their costs. The purpose of these illegal actions was to hide construction works for Poznan police headquarters, which were realized free of charge and without a resolution of the Poznań City Council.
