CBA controls in Biskupiec
29.08.2017 An investigation has been initiated and two CBA controls concerning the execution of the investment contract, among others, in the scope construction of waste incineration plants and the sale of municipal real estates worth about 3 million PLN to a foreign private company have started. The CBA agents from the Regional Office of the CBA in Białystok are already in the Town Office of the City of Biskupiec and in the local Water Supply and Sewerage Company (PWiK).
The officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Białystok, on the basis of a prior analysis, started two controls: in the Town Office in Biskupiec and the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Biskupiec.
Control proceedings concern procedures specified by legal provisions in regard to undertaking and implementing selected decisions taken by the Town Office in Biskupiec in connection with the implementation of the investment contract of 20th April 2015 concluded with the Horizont Project Development with and the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Biskupiec.
Controls are primarily concerned with the disposal by the town office in Biskupiec of municipal property, among others, in regard to the sale of municipal real estate (without tender) worth about 3 million PLN to EGGER company through the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Biskupiec.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn also assigned the Regional Office of the CBA in Białystok to investigate the disposal of property by the Town Office in Biskupiec and the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Biskupiec, regarding the disposal of communal property in connection with the implementation of concluded with the Horizont Project Development Company in 2015 investment contract, as well as in the scope of construction by the investor of the waste incineration plant.
