The CBA goes to the prosecutor's office in re a delayed bus offer

The CBA filed a notice to the prosecutor's office on one of the former directors of Autosan, who tendered for dozens of minutes after the deadline. If Autosan's offer was submitted correctly, the company would probably win the tender.

The CBA, following its own findings and analyzes of AUTOSAN's participation in the tendering procedure for the purchase of 26 passenger buses announced by the 2 Regional Logistics Base, submitted a notice to the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office on a justified suspicion of committing an offense by one of the directors of AUTOSAN (who was dismissed from the company in August this year).

According to the CBA's findings, the former director was obliged to deal with the economic business of the company, including the company's participation in public tenders for the purchase of buses, preparation and delivery of this particular offer, failing to fulfill his obligation of timely and effective delivery of the offer on 28th July 2017 to 2 RBLOGs in Rembertów. He caused significant material damage to the company and thus fulfilled the character of a crime against business turnover - the abuse of trust.

It should be added, that CBA officers performed a calculation comparing the bids of both companies, which submitted bids in this tender. On the basis of the calculations and evaluation criteria described in the Specification of Essential Terms of Contract and after verification of the fulfillment by AUTOSAN of the additional tender requirements, it appears, that if the AUTOSAN offer was submitted within the deadline, it would probably be selected by 2 RBLOGs in Rembertów, as the most favorable.
