CBA action in the center of the capital. 4 people caught red-handed. 100 thousand euro bribe
Agents from the Regional Office of the CBA in Łódź, as a result of the special operation, caught in the act three persons while they were accepting a bribe in the amount of 100 thousand euro. CBA action took place in one of the clubs in the Nowy Świat (center of the city) in Warsaw. After a short pursuit the CBA officers also caught a fourth person. The CBA agents have secured the full amount of the bribe.
Persons detained by the CBA are three businessmen and a policeman from Warsaw. The CBA agents searched the nightclub, apartments and cars of the detainees. Documents and electronic data have been secured.
Men are suspected of invoking influences in the justice. The corrupt proposal concerned the settlement of a favorable dismissal of an investigation for the suspected.
Materials from the special operation of the Regional Office of the CBA in Łódź will be sent to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.
