Meeting of the Head of the CBA with the Head of the Austrian Anti-Corruption Bureau (Bundesamt und zur Korruptionsprävention Korruptionsbekämpfung) in Vienna, Austria

In the second half of January 2014, Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, along with a delegation from CBA paid a visit at the invitation of the Head of the Austrian Anti-Corruption Bureau (BAK) in Vienna, Austria.

The subject of the visit was, among others, discussion and presentation of the project of the Austrian Bureau "S4ACA" by its representatives (SIENA - Secure Information Exchange Network Application). SIENA system serves as a platform for the secure exchange of information between law enforcement authorities of the Member States of the European Union, Europol and third parties who have a cooperation agreement with Europol. The idea behind the project is to extend SIENA application among anti-corruption bodies.

 

The Heads of both  Bureaus declared to cooperate in raising the effectiveness of anti-corruption activities, by participating in the "S4ACA" project.
