Former Deputy Minister of Finance (2008-2015) detained
The agents of the CBA Regional Office in Białystok detained today in Warsaw the former deputy finance minister (2008-2015) and at the same time the former Head of the Customs Service.
The detainee will be transported to the District Prosecutor's Office in Białystok, where he will be charged. A search is under way in the detainee's apartment.
Activities are carried out as part of a new investigation conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Białystok, which cooperates with the CBA Regional Office in Białystok.
These are not the first steps in this matter - including in February this year officers of the CBA Regional Office in Białystok, together with the prosecutor's office, secured for the needs of the ongoing investigation documentation from the headquarters of the Tax Administration Chamber in Szczecin. At the same time, officers of the Customs Service were questioned, including the former Director of the Customs Chamber in Szczecin.
