Former Chief of the Police and former directors of the Łódź and Poznań Regional Offices of the CBA detained
Agents from the CBA's Regional Office in Gdańsk detained the former Chief of Police, former Director of the CBA's Regional Office in Poznań and the former Director of the CBA's Regional Office in Łódź.
Former CBA officers were appointed as directors and performed their functions while the Central Anticorruption Bureau was headed by the previous Head of the CBA.
The detentions took place in Kalisz, near Katowice and Kielce.
The CBA agents searched the detainees' apartments.
After the completion of these activities, the former Chief of Police and former directors of CBA's Regional Offices will be transferred to the Podkarpackie Terrain Division of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów, where they will be charged with white-collar crimes.
