A producer group under the CBA's microscope, 30 million zł losses
Artificial division of a farm. Losses of the Zielona Góra agricultural agency reach nearly 31 million zł. The CBA from Poznań informed the public prosecutor's office of reasonable suspicion of committing of a crime.
The controllers from the Poznan CBA Regional Office submitted a notice to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Poznań about the suspicion of committing a crime related to the activities of a producer group of fruit and vegetables.
ARiMR estimates losses at nearly 31 million zł. The Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Marshal's Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and subordinate employees were to fail to meet their obligations by recognizing the producer group as properly established. The group was created artificially by dividing one farm into three. The group's organizers created the condition to have 5 members in order to receive financial assistance. Two of them created an agricultural farm from previously functioning farm through an endowment made as part of the family. From the findings of the Bureau's controllers, it is clear that there has been an artificial division of the areas, on the basis of which the regional branch of ARIMR in Zielona Góra in years 2008-2012 transferred funds in the total amount of over 30 million zł to the producers.
