They caused financial damage, now they will answer for it
Regional Office of the CBA in Łódź: two officials were detained. The investigation revealed corruption. One of the detainees was caught by the CBA for a second time. In this case, it is about, among others, a gas pipeline.
Two people detained by the CBA agents from Łódź. Former director of Łódź Road and Transport Management (ZDiT), and the current director in one of the municipal office companies and the head of the municipal investment board acted to the detriment of the office in Łódź. Detainees will answer for irregularities in the reconstruction of Górna Route and the W-Zw Łódź Route.
This is not the only charge they are facing. They also exceeded powers to obtain financial benefit by public officials. The whole matter concerns an order for the design of the reconstruction of the gas pipeline and the liquidation of the existing one. In this way, they acted to the detriment of the public interest.
This is another part of this proceeding. Already earlier six people were charged. One of them is the re-detained director of the municipal company, against whom the prosecutor's office in March last year pressed charges, including: accepting bribes.
